Ruin and Rising(#grishaverse) is the third book in the Grisha Trilogy. Ravka was still in danger in the hands of Darkling. The Sun Summoner, Alina needed more power to fight against the most powerful Grisha, The Darkling. She went on seeking for the power that she needed without being aware that it had always been with her,beside her in flesh and bone. Did she saved Ravka? Did she destroyed the Shadow fold? Ofcourse she did But the thing is How? Read the story to know that. It will definitely be an amazing journey.
This story is no less than the other two books in this series. The author’s amazing writing and the plot will never let you to put the book down. The thrill that this story had created lasts till the end. The characters remain unique like before. The Darkling was rarely seen in this book though I stuck between whether to love him or to hate him I still miss him. And the twist in the story just stopped me for a second and for couple of times my guess went wrong. Nicholai’s return took place in the perfect timing and the fight scene was just well picturized. I cried when Mal was in the edge of death as in the first book in the Shadow Fold,but now I’m happy that he is safe. And the ending was soo pleasant that I loved it. Overall I just loved this series soo much and this is the first series that I have ever read, so this will remain very close to my heart always.
