The protagonist of this story Theseus Cassio aka Cas is a teenage boy, who hunts ghosts with his athame, which was used by his Father who was also a Ghosthunter. In his job of sending the dead to where it belongs, he met Anna, Anna dressed in blood. He had planned to kill her like he killed the other ghost but later on he realizes that it was going to be a difficult task. To add on to this, he faces a thing from his past which was an unexpected turn in this story.
I always love Horror movies a lot and was longing to read a Horror book. This book is perfect for the Halloween month and I really loved it. Cas’s character was so well expressed in this book from the start. I love the start of the book and the way the creepy things were explained. And coming to Anna, she was a super-powerful ghost with a dark past hidden in her house and she played a very important role in the book than expected.
All the characters in the book were given equal importance till the end. All those spooky things, Cas’s conversations with Anna, the connection between them, the way the author handled the emotions everything I just love it. The climax was surely unexpected. I personally wish that the cover could have been better. I highly recommend this book👍🏻
