My Review:
First, let me say about the cover. I always love the artwork in book covers. So I can’t help but fall in love with this book cover at first sight. I was so excited to read this book as I have seen many great reviews and recommendations for it. It took some time for me to get into the story. After that, I started loving it more.
Linus, a 40-year-old man who works for the Department in Charge of Magical Youth. Never have I ever read a story with 40 y/o protagonists so it felt different to read this book. I love how his character development. He was a new person at the end of the book and the change was so gradual.

What can I say about the mischievous munchkins? I always adore children. I love all six sweet children. They were all so adorable. The found family trope was written so perfectly. First place for the adorable child was to Chauncey. His dream was to become a bellhop and he was putting so much hard work for that. I love him so much.
Talia’s conversation with Linus was my favourite. I wish there were more scenes with Phee. Sal is such a sweet marshmallow and a budding writer. I wish I have Theodore, the wyvern, with me. Last but never least Lucy, dramatic and mischievous of them all, sweet as candy, cute as a bunny. I wish the author write a separate book about him as a teenager.
The relationship between Linus and Arthur was a slow burn and I expect nothing more. There were moments I got tears in my eyes because of so much sweetness. I loved all the things in this book but the start was so slow till 6th chap and I had lost interest in the story then (before the arrival of children). Other than that I did love this book.
I loved this book!
