My Review:

“Dead Man’s Hand: The Professionals” is a fantasy novella by Gypsy Renegade. The plot of the story is that the three main characters were hired on a quest to retrieve a forbidden item.

The writing style was so good that I started loving this book from the very first chapter. The book has only four chapters yet found a way to my heart. I didn’t know until now that it was possible to love a character in such a very short time.

Elleweena, Weasel, and Thunk were the three main characters in the book. All of their personalities were very well executed. I loved how playful and teasing Elleweena’s character was. Her blend of mischief and magic brought a delightful energy to the novella. Also, I loved the fact that she is a witch. Her display of powers and the fight sequences were so well described.

Overall, I loved reading the book, especially the fight scenes. I can only imagine how great this story would be if it were turned into a novel or series. If you’re a fantasy lover, read this novella, and you definitely won’t be disappointed!

My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5
