The story “We Were Liars” is about Sinclair family who are super rich and they used to spend their every summer in an Island. The story is about three Grandchildren (Cady, Mirren & Johnny) of Harris Sinclair and their friend Gat. Cady who is the protagonist of this story lost her memory in summer fifteen. After one year she came back to Island in her summer seventeen and everyone in her family was not ready to tell her what had happened before she lost her memory. One day her memory came back and she was terrified to know that.
Initially I was not that much into the story. I felt little boring. But then I heard that lot of people said the ending is worth the read. And that made me to continue reading the story. Ofcourse the ending was unexpected and heartbreaking at the same time. I can assure you that you can’t guess the ending. Worth the read!!
